My mission as a Life Coach is to help my clients explore themselves, gain perspective and see what has been hidden inside them all along. I want to empower and inspire my clients to live a life that is authentic, fulfilling, and aligned with their values. I believe that everyone has the potential to create positive change in their lives, but they must truly want it! I am here to support you on your journey towards personal growth and transformation.
My approach to coaching is rooted in the positive exploration of the mind, body and soul! Without a person's willingness to explore than there is no chance in any behavioral change. I work collaboratively with my clients and urge them to want the change and then to make the change. My help is most effective at the point where I become a reinforcement tool to someone who has identified what they must change and now are willing to do whats necessary to accomplish their goals, no matter how difficult. Together we will develop practical strategies for achieving and then maintaining these goals. I believe that coaching is a process of self-discovery, and I am committed to providing a supportive and non-judgmental space for my clients to explore their inner world.
I offer a range of coaching services, including one-on-one coaching sessions and group coaching. My areas of expertise include career coaching, stress management, relationship coaching, fitness coaching, addiction coaching and personal development. I believe activities are the backbone that create change. So once we find out what you like to do, we incorporate that into our sessions. In April, 2020, I was mountain biking in the Spring Mountains west of the 215 at Lake Mead. On my ride, I noticed these white rocks in the distance nestled in between many red rocks. The white rocks became my goal. I had to reach them. So I pushed myself, riding through river beds and cacti finally happening upon the area that became my focus. I laid down my bike and hiked up to the rocks, which glowed in bright sunlight. I noticed that the face of the rocks had an alter that was almost chiseled out perfectly for a person to stand in. My mind started to race with wonderment. Did this used to be a temple of some sort for a tribe who lived out in this desert hundreds of years ago? I stood in the alter, then sat in it and pondered about my life and the world. I felt a calmeness overcome me. I then ventured around the rock structure to the back of it. There were amazing rock formations that caught my attention. As I backed myself up against the far wall as much as I could, I saw it for the first time. It was amazing that I had to be as far back as I could get to notice it. But it was right there before my eyes. I could make out the elephant. I have spent many moments up there since then and every time I have biked up there I have discovered something new about myself as well as the area around me. I have found petroglyphs scattered around an entire area that looks to have been colonized. I made an amazing discovery and for me it explains to me so much about myself, who I am and how I got to where I am in my life. Sometimes going after what you want isn't enough, when you get there only by stepping back as far as you can, can you see what is truly attainable!
